Paths people can use with confidence
Footpaths are among the most visible parts of a site. We install and maintain routes around business premises, visitor attractions and communal grounds, considering the people using them and the spaces they connect.
Problems often occur where one surface meets another: a raised flag at a doorway, a worn edge beside grass or a patch that has settled after earlier works. We can assess these individual defects as well as longer sections of path, helping you decide where repairs will make the most difference.
Repairs and new routes
- New pathsPlan the route, surface, levels and edge details around the site and its intended users.
- Uneven or damaged pavingLift and relay affected flags or blocks, repair local damage and assess underlying movement.
- Cleaning and edgesAddress surface build-up and damaged borders where these form part of the agreed work.
Accessibility in the details
We consider gradients, widths, junctions, surface condition and changes in level. These details need to be assessed together; choosing a particular material alone does not make a route accessible. We agree any project-specific requirements before installation.
The route may need to serve staff, visitors, pushchairs, wheelchairs or maintenance vehicles. Tell us who uses it and where access is essential. We can then discuss suitable surface options and the practical details at entrances, crossings and connections to existing paving.
Planning the work
We discuss pedestrian access, temporary restrictions and phasing so staff and visitors know where to go. Photos, videos and project records document the agreed work and completed repairs.
