Support for busy healthcare grounds
Healthcare sites need clear, usable routes for patients, staff, visitors and deliveries. We assess damaged surfaces and plan the agreed work around the operational needs of the site.
A small surface defect can create a disproportionate inconvenience at a busy entrance or along a frequently used route. We can assess local issues as well as broader refurbishment needs, helping your estates team identify a manageable scope across paths, parking and external service areas.
Areas we can help with
- Paths and entrancesRepair uneven or damaged paving and consider the needs of people using mobility aids or trolleys.
- Parking and access roadsTargeted repairs or larger resurfacing works, with traffic and pedestrian arrangements discussed in advance.
- Service areasSurfacing and maintenance specified around the expected vehicles and daily use.
Agree access before work starts
We work with your site contact to identify routes that must remain available, restrictions and suitable working periods. Phasing or temporary diversions may be needed. Material choice, gradients and junctions are considered as part of the site-specific design.
Let us know about patient drop-off points, emergency access, regular deliveries and routes that are difficult to divert. We discuss these constraints before agreeing how the work will be carried out, including the boundaries of each work area and the arrangements for returning it to use.
Documented work and clear updates
We provide the agreed scope, RAMS and programme information digitally. Progress updates and records of the completed work help your estates team keep track of repairs and follow-up maintenance.
