Foundations and drainage

We look beyond the centre of the area to its entrances, boundaries and connections to existing surfaces. Soft edges, repeated rutting and water collecting in low spots can indicate that more than a surface top-up is needed. These observations help define a practical repair or a more substantial upgrade.
